red

The Red Group is located at the end of the hallway, which is often used as an extension of the group room and offers the children additional space to play and move around. Thanks to its proximity to the garden and the function rooms, the children in the Red Group are well integrated into everyday life at the daycare center and are particularly aware of the daily routines.
From the age of four, the children in kindergarten also have the opportunity to use the function rooms without direct supervision. This age-appropriate trust promotes their independence, responsibility, and orientation within the daycare center and strengthens their confidence in their own abilities.
A lovingly designed jungle room invites children to dress up and engage in imaginative role-play. The group room has a long, child-friendly sink where children can reach their drinking cups independently and actively help with meal preparation. Underneath the plateau is a cozy reading corner that invites children to retreat, cuddle, and relax. The raised platform itself is equipped with foam padding and offers space for romping, building caves, and roughhousing—ideal for promoting physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.

The Red Group offers children a safe and reliable environment in which they can feel comfortable, pursue their own interests, and further develop their independence. The combination of movement areas, places of retreat, and communal areas creates a balanced learning and experiential environment that meets the needs of the children.
A special feature of the kindergarten groups are the children's experience portfolios. These document their entire time at kindergarten with personal milestones such as settling in, annual celebrations, birthdays, and excursions. The portfolios belong to the children and are available for them to look at anytime. If other children or adults want to look through them, they must ask for permission first – this is how self-determination and mutual respect are actively practiced in everyday life.
