The Green Group impresses with an open and versatile room concept that offers children numerous opportunities to play, learn, and discover. A workbench invites them to do crafts and creative design. A spacious adjoining room allows children to retreat to dress up and slip into different roles.
The plateau is particularly popular, as it creates an additional play level: while the upper area is used as a cozy retreat for cuddling, the space below offers room for constructing and building. Compared to the nursery groups, the children here have access to smaller play materials and free access to scissors, which promotes their independence and fine motor skills. Each child also has their own standing file in which they can collect personal treasures, drawings, and paintings until they take them home.
Tables and seating are arranged in a child-friendly manner and offer space for shared meals, creative activities, and table games. Here, the children experience community, learn rules of coexistence, and take on responsibility, for example when setting the table or tidying up.
Open shelves with easily accessible materials support the children's independence and encourage them to develop their own play ideas. The Green Group thus offers a balanced framework of activity, structure, and security in which children can develop their skills, gain social experience, and feel part of the community.
Two connecting doors to the Yellow and Red Groups can be opened if necessary. This gives friends and siblings the opportunity to visit each other, and the children can broaden their horizons and gain new social experiences.
