The children's bathroom and kitchen at our daycare center have been completely renovated and redesigned in friendly, child-friendly colors. Lockable doors in the children's bathroom now provide more privacy, while automatic faucets make it easier for younger children in particular to wash their hands independently. Extendable steps to the changing areas further support the children's autonomy and promote toilet training. The kitchen has also been redesigned: an extendable platform allows the children to actively participate in meal preparation. This gives them a playful insight into processes such as cooking, baking, peeling, and cutting, and allows them to gain valuable everyday experience.
