On March 21, we are sending a conscious message to celebrate and highlight diversity and difference. By wearing two different socks, we are symbolizing that every person is unique and valuable and right just as they are. As an inclusive daycare center, it is important to us to teach children early on that differences are natural and enrich our community. This day has a special meaning for us, and at the same time, it is an expression of an attitude that we live out every day in our educational work: diversity, acceptance, and mutual respect are integral parts of our interactions with one another.
