A Visit to the Teddybear Hospital
Our youngest children in the Red and Green Groups got to visit the Teddybear Hospital. There, medical students help children learn about doctor’s visits, hospitals, and emergency services in a playful way.
Of course, they brought their own stuffed animals from home. Together, the little “patients” were examined, treated, and even vaccinated. This allowed the children to experience medical procedures firsthand and ask lots of questions.
A special highlight awaited them outside: The children got to explore the inside of an ambulance and discover everything inside it.
Through this playful experience, the unfamiliar becomes more familiar, and any concerns or fears about doctor’s visits can be gently addressed.
