Small kindergarten
The Yellow Group is the "small kindergarten group" of the Wichtel and is aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 4.
The Yellow Group supports your child's development by promoting autonomy, independence, and self-determination. Your child learns to act independently, strengthening their self-confidence and self-esteem.
The feeling of self-efficacy encourages your child to actively participate in their own life. Another goal is to develop a sense of connection and community in order to lay the foundation for the transition to the older kindergarten groups (Red and Green).
In the Yellow Group, we practice an attitude of appreciation and respect toward the children. We view differences as enriching and diversity as an opportunity. Inclusion plays an important role, as every child has a right to education and participation. Participation is encouraged by actively involving children in the life of the facility and giving them the opportunity to contribute their opinions and ideas.
The Yellow Group pursues a holistic approach to support that takes into account the individual needs and abilities of the children. Cognitive, emotional, social, motor, linguistic, sensory, and moral areas are promoted. Reliable relationships offer the children guidance and security.
Close cooperation with parents is important to the Yellow Group. Regular meetings and opportunities for exchange are offered to discuss the children's development. Parents are encouraged to actively participate and contribute their concerns.
The Yellow Group creates a positive learning environment that promotes the individual development of each child. Social skills and community spirit are developed. An open and trusting atmosphere allows the children to feel safe and secure.
Overall, the Yellow Group creates a loving, supportive, and diverse environment for the optimal development of the children. Cooperation with parents is of great importance in order to jointly support the well-being and development of each child.
